Anger is such an important emotion. It can defend us when we are in danger, motivate us to make a change and it can feel amazing to let off steam. But if you don’t feel like the best version of yourself when you are angry, I can help. If your anger is out of balance, you might notice you:

  • Display unhelpful or destructive behaviour

  • Damage relationships

  • Are criticised or avoided because of your outbursts

  • Unintentionally create negative atmospheres

  • “Blow-up” when you least expect it

  • Show anger as your main emotion

Anger is often called a secondary emotion, meaning that anger is often a reaction to other uncomfortable feelings we have. This means if you develop a healthy relationship with anger you can react to situations in a way that you won’t regret, stop bottling feelings up until you explode at the people who don’t deserve it and begin to feel in control again.
